Fret Level & Setup Course £300

The full setup course goes deeper and is ideal for players who want a complete understanding of professional-level setup work.

This course is an intensive one-day workshop focusing on the guitar as a whole system — not isolated adjustments.

You’ll cover:

• Neck relief and action in detail

• Nut slot height and common nut issues

• Fret condition and how it affects setup

• How to level and crown frets

• Understand a fall away

• Polish the frets to a mirror shine

• Bridge and saddle setup

• Intonation

• Diagnosing playability problems

• Understanding limitations and when repair work is required

 

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

• Carry out a full, structured guitar setup

• Diagnose complex playability issues

• Understand when fretwork or further repair is needed

• Avoid the most common setup mistakes
